About

I'm Marc. I build things and explore ideas. Most of my time goes into creating software and products, but I also have a deep interest in theoretical physics and philosophy.

I studied physics at King's College London (MSci), where I developed a fascination with the boundary between quantum mechanics and gravity. That interest hasn't faded — it's grown into a body of independent research I call the Quantum-Geometric Duality series:8 papers exploring the hypothesis that quantum mechanics and general relativity are complementary descriptions of a single underlying reality.

The research spans gravitational decoherence, holographic dark energy, emergent gravity, and the information-theoretic foundations of spacetime. I'm especially drawn to predictions that can be tested experimentally — the kind of work where theory meets the lab.

On the building side, I work across the stack — from backend systems to frontend interfaces. I enjoy the overlap between engineering and research: both require clear thinking, careful reasoning, and the willingness to be wrong.

This site is where I write about what I'm learning and building. You can see what I'm up to right now on my Now page.

Research

My academic work is available on Google Scholar and ORCID. You can also browse the full series with PDFs, HTML versions, and audio walkthroughs on the research page.
